High-Speed Steel (HSS) Roll Rings
TINVO HSS roll rings represent the pinnacle of metallurgical technology for modern rolling mills. Engineered with premium High-Speed Steel (W, Mo, Cr, V alloys), these rings offer exceptional red hardness, superior wear resistance, and high impact toughness. Whether for seamless pipe, wire rod, or structural steel production, our HSS rings ensure extended service life and impeccable surface finish of the final products.
Introduction
Traditional cast iron rolls often struggle with thermal fatigue and rapid wear in high-speed or heavy-load environments.. Our HSS roll rings are produced using advanced Centrifugal Composite Casting. This ensures a high-alloy, wear-resistant outer shell (HSS) metallurgicaly bonded to a high-toughness ductile iron core, offering the perfect balance between hardness and fracture toughness.
Key Advantages
- Extreme Red Hardness:Maintains high hardness levels even at elevated rolling temperatures.
- Superior Wear Resistance:Significant reduction in roll-changing frequency, increasing mill uptime.
- Excellent Thermal Stability:Resists thermal cracking and oxidation during continuous operation.
- Optimal Toughness:High bending strength to withstand the impact of high-speed rolling.
Proven Performance: In high-speed wire rod finishing stands, TINVO’s HSS rings consistently achieve 3-4 times the tonnage per dressing compared to traditional alloy cast iron rings, maintaining a superior surface finish even at speeds exceeding 100 m/s.

Pinch Roll Ring
This series of material is a new type of material developed for the pinch roll rings of the high-speed steel (HSS) wire rods and bar rolling mills, with a hardness of HSD88-93. Unifomity of roller surface hardness ≤3HSD, hardness drop/10mm: ≤ 2HSD, single grinding amount (reduction): ≤0.8mm.
This material has high wear-resistance and impact toughness under thermal load, so the product not only has high wear resistance characteristic, but also is less prone to ring explosion in pre-precision rolling stands with larger material types and deformations than hard alloys. At the same time, CNC lathes can be used for processing, which has high processing efficiency and low cost and is conducive to reducing the amount of backup rollers, The total amount of steel passing through each group of roll rings can reach over 70% of that of hard alloy roll rings, and the price is less than 40% of that of harden alloy roller rings, which has a very high cost performance advantage, suitable for the high-speed steel (HSS) wire rods and bar rolling mills.
