Slewing Bearing Applications by Industry

• Steel mill equipment:  Used in rolling mill entry/exit tables, coil handling systems, and turning devices. The roll material used in these applications directly affects bearing wear life and maintenance intervals.  Bearings selection guide require high load ratings and reliable sealing against mill environment contaminants.
• Cranes and lifting equipment: Main slewing ring applications in port cranes, tower cranes, and mobile cranes. Typical requirements: high moment load capacity, compact design, and long maintenance intervals.
• Excavators and construction machinery: Swing ring bearings for hydraulic excavators and foundation equipment. Requirements center on durability under shock loads and abrasive operating conditions.

Selection parameters to consider: axial load rating, radial load rating, moment load capacity, and the operating environment (temperature, contamination, lubrication access). Matching these parameters to the specific application determines the appropriate bearing configuration.

Standard & Non-Standard Slewing Bearings

TINVO supplies slewing rings along two routes. The standard slewing bearing range covers OD 200 mm to 3500 mm in single-, double-, and three-row configurations and ships from stock; where space, load, or mounting-hole pattern falls outside the catalogue, a non-standard slewing bearing is engineered to drawing.
