Steel Rolling Blade

The steel rolling blade is an important tool used for hot shearing, cold shearing, and cutting of steel in the steel rolling process of steel mills. Strict consistency in blade thickness ensures perfect alignment across the entire shearing width.

Introduction

The steel rolling blade is an important tool used for hot shearing, cold shearing, and cutting of steel in the steel rolling process of steel mills. It is usually installed on the steel rolling mill. Its main role is to press the billet or steel through the rolling process to the required shape and size. In the demanding environment of steel production, the reliability of your steel rolling blades determines the quality of your finished products and the efficiency of your line. TINVO provides a wide range of industrial shear blades specifically engineered for both hot and cold rolling applications, ensuring clean cuts and maximum service life under extreme thermal and mechanical stress.

Product advantages

  • Advanced Material Excellence: We select premium tool steels based on your specific rolling conditions. For hot rolling, we utilize H13 (SKD61) and high-alloy steels for superior red hardness. For cold rolling, we offer D2 (SKD11) and M2 (HSS) to provide maximum wear resistance.

  • Thermal Fatigue Resistance: Our hot rolling blades undergo specialized heat treatment cycles to resist the cracking and deformation typically caused by rapid temperature fluctuations on the production line.

  • Precision Edge Engineering: Utilizing state-of-the-art CNC grinding technology, we achieve exceptional flatness and sharp cutting edges. This precision reduces the load on your rolling equipment and ensures burr-free edges on the processed steel. the precision can reach: 0.002mm

  • Optimized Heat Treatment: Through vacuum hardening and multiple tempering stages, we achieve a uniform microstructure that balances surface hardness with core toughness, preventing premature chipping and structural failure.

  • Tailored for All Mill Types: Whether you operate a bar mill, wire rod mill, or strip mill, we provide custom-manufactured blades designed to fit your specific machine brand and operational parameters.

Common types of steel rolling blades:

• Hot rolling blade: Used in the hot-rolling process, usually needs to withstand high temperature and high pressure, so it needs to have good heat resistance and wear resistance.
• Cold rolling blade: Used in the cold-rolling process, it needs to have relatively high hardness and wear resistance to ensure the surface quality of the rolled steel.
• Profile steel rolling blade: Used for rolling profile steel, such as angle steel, channel steel, I-beam, etc., and the corresponding blade shape needs to be designed according to the shape and size of the profile steel.

Common types of steel rolling blades share the same mill stand environment as upstream rolls, and the upstream roll material grade — particularly HSS roll and adamite roll — sets the wear profile that the downstream blade engagement must accommodate. For upstream roll material selection that complements blade performance, refer to the rolling mill rolls, HSS roll, and adamite roll commercial pages.
